does a bill collector need an authorization letter to take money out of your account?

Posted by admin on August 18, 2010 in Personal Finance with 3 Comments

Well, here’s the story. I received a call stating that i had a debt with a payday loan that was out standing, and that i needed to pay it. The total amount was for $900. I did not recognize the name of the company which was CNA. I asked that he give me some documentation of this bill, and he stated he could not because he didn’t have the documentation, but that once the debt was paid, i wouldreceivee something in the mail, RED FLAG!! He stated that the original company was with cashnet. Its been years since i had a payday loan, i thought that yes more then likely i had had this. So i gave them my card info, but was instructed to fax in a authorization letter. After thinking about it, and looking up stuff on the internet, i realized that this was a SCAM!!! At that point a charge had already beenreceivedd, from apay pall on my bank account. So i called them and told them that i didn’t not authorize this charge. What do you think? Will i get my money back?Pay pall said they would do an investigation, and get my money back. What do you think?
I know!!!!! But the guy kept calling, and said that if i didn’t pay it, that i would be taken to court! I have no desire to go to court!!!! I was scared! So i gave out my info. I should of followed my gut feeling when he said he couldn’t give me any documentation. :(

Who is Eligible for Cash Loans?

Posted by admin on May 18, 2010 in Personal Finance with No Comments

There are many requirements to get a cash loan, but it is easier to qualify for these short-term loans than traditional loans at large bank corporations. All applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a regular source of income. Proof of employment and payday verification is also required. These are the basic requirements to qualify for a cash loan, but the amount of money you can receive will directly correlate with your income. Also, each company has varying requirements.

Cash loans are easier to qualify for than traditional loans because many times there is no requirement for a credit check. This makes them ideal for people with a less-than-perfect credit score. When used correctly, cash loans can even boost credit scores to get people back on track financially. Cash loans are not for everyone because there is a cost associated with their use, but they are great for people who need a short-term loan because of an emergency and might not be able to get a loan elsewhere because of their credit.

Applying for a cash loan is quick and easy when done on the Internet. You will fill out an application form and be notified whether you qualify. Some companies will notify you if you qualify immediately. The application form will ask for information about your income and financial obligations. There are also fields asking for personal information like your name, social security number, phone number, email address, and home address. In order to ensure that you will pay your loan back, the application usually asks for references. At the end of the online loan application your signature will be required.

Be careful to read all the terms and conditions associated with the loan service before signing your application form. It is important to know all of the fees associated with your loan.

Quick Cash Loans, how do they work?

My girlfriend has gotten in over her head with payday loans. Basically she pays 400 dollars a month to borrow 2000, 25% wow. I don’t know how they work, but she has explained to me that she pays them off each pay period but she needs the money so right away she has to get another loan, and it just keeps happening month after month. Is this true? How can that even be possible?

Also so needs to pay these off, as you can see the issues with having no money, and her credit(clearly) is not the best, is there any place that will give her a personal loan for this? Like Citi Fin? She has about 5 grand in medical bills, this loans, and two credit cards. With not very good credit is it possible? Thanks in advance.

HELP – need a personal loan, quick cash, ANYTHING by Aug. 9?

Posted by admin on January 25, 2010 in Personal Finance with 7 Comments

I am in DIRE need of $800-$1000 by August 9th. Its to move an apartment. Not moving is not an option, getting a different apartment is not an option. We have no where else to go so we NEED this apt. Long story short, military screwed up on my husbands paycheck. (base housing also not an option.) The money thats missing, we can get back, but we wont have it back in time. We have tried to get assistance, but have failed. I have tried selling things, but there’s only so much you can get from that. I have poor/limited credit, and cant get a consigner. I do not have relatives to ask either. All the payday advance sites online that I have found are a joke. PLEASE PLEASE if someone out there is willing give me a loan, or any other assistance, or wants to buy my computer from me, lol…i am open to other suggestions as well.
no, the military does not help you when you need it. or else we wouldnt have a problem. if we could solve it that way, i wouldnt be on yahoo answers looking for help.
the computer is an extra one, we’re selling it regardless.
